Terms of Service

Last updated: 11 May 2026

1. Who we are

Cutly is a trading name of F&F Ventures, a company operating in the United Kingdom. References to "Cutly", "we", "us", or "our" in these Terms refer to F&F Ventures. Our service is accessible at cut-ly.life.

For any questions about these Terms, contact us at hello@cut-ly.life.

2. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using Cutly, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use our service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Barber", "Shop Owner", or "User") and Cutly. If you are using Cutly on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

3. The service

Cutly provides software-as-a-service ("SaaS") tools for barbershop owners and self-employed barbers, including but not limited to:

  • A public-facing online booking page accessible at your unique shop URL
  • A dashboard for managing appointments, barbers, services, and clients
  • Automated booking reminders (where enabled and available)
  • Reporting and client management tools

Cutly is a tool for managing your own business. We are not a marketplace, directory, or booking agent. We do not introduce clients to your business or take commission on bookings.

4. Account registration

To use Cutly you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration
  • Be operating a legitimate barbershop or hair-cutting business
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@cut-ly.life if you suspect any unauthorised access.

We reserve the right to refuse registration or close accounts at our discretion, particularly where we suspect misuse, fraudulent activity, or violation of these Terms.

5. Free trial

New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with full access to the features available on the selected plan. No credit card is required to start a trial.

At the end of the trial period, you will be prompted to enter payment details to continue using Cutly. If you do not subscribe, your account will be suspended and your public booking page will be deactivated. Your data will be retained for 30 days after suspension, after which it may be permanently deleted.

We reserve the right to modify or terminate the free trial offer at any time without notice. Only one free trial is permitted per person or business.

6. Subscription and billing

Cutly offers the following subscription plans, billed monthly:

  • Solo — £19.00 per month (1 barber chair)
  • Studio — £45.00 per month (up to 3 barber chairs)
  • Shop — £79.00 per month (up to 6 barber chairs)
  • Unlimited — £139.00 per month (unlimited barber chairs)

Each plan includes a monthly allowance of booking and promotional SMS messages. SMS sent beyond the included allowance are charged as overage at the per-message rate listed for your plan on the pricing page. A hard cap applies to prevent runaway charges.

All prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise Cutly to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Cutly does not store your full payment card details. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Where a price increase affects your plan, we will provide at least 30 days' written notice by email before the new price takes effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance of the new price.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time via the Billing section of your dashboard or by emailing us at hello@cut-ly.life.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain full access to Cutly until that date. We do not offer pro-rata refunds for partial months unless required by law.

After cancellation, your public booking page will be deactivated and new bookings will not be accepted. Existing booking data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion.

8. Refund policy

Due to the nature of software subscriptions, we do not offer refunds on monthly subscription charges that have already been processed, except in the following circumstances:

  • Billing error: If you were charged incorrectly (e.g. after cancellation or at the wrong amount), we will refund the overcharged amount in full within 5 business days.
  • Service outage: If Cutly experiences a verified outage lasting more than 72 consecutive hours in any billing period, you may request a pro-rata credit for that period.
  • Statutory rights: Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including your right to a refund if a service is not provided as described.

To request a refund, email hello@cut-ly.life with your account email, the charge amount, and the reason for your request. We aim to respond within 3 business days.

The 7-day free trial exists so you can evaluate Cutly before committing to a paid subscription. We encourage you to make full use of the trial period.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Cutly to:

  • Violate any applicable UK law or regulation
  • Provide false or misleading information to clients
  • Send unsolicited marketing communications ("spam") to clients
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the Cutly platform
  • Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the service
  • Circumvent any security or access controls
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten other users or Cutly staff
  • Use the platform for any business other than hair-cutting and barbering services

Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.

10. Your data and client data

You retain full ownership of all data you input into Cutly, including your shop information, service listings, and client booking data.

By using Cutly to collect client information (names, email addresses, phone numbers), you confirm that you:

  • Have a lawful basis for collecting that data under UK GDPR
  • Will not use client data for purposes beyond what clients reasonably expect when booking
  • Will not sell, share, or transfer client data to third parties without consent
  • Will comply with your obligations as a data controller under UK GDPR

Cutly acts as a data processor on your behalf for client booking data. Our processing activities are described in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement (available on request).

11. Intellectual property

Cutly and its content, features, and functionality are owned by F&F Ventures and are protected by UK and international intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any part of the Cutly platform without our prior written consent.

You grant Cutly a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use your shop name and logo solely for the purpose of providing the service (e.g. displaying your name on your booking page).

12. Availability and uptime

We aim to maintain high availability of the Cutly platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, third-party service outages (including Stripe, Supabase, and Cloudflare), and unexpected technical issues may cause temporary unavailability.

We are not liable for any loss of bookings, revenue, or business opportunity resulting from service downtime, except where caused by our gross negligence.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, Cutly's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including lost revenue, lost bookings, loss of data, or damage to reputation.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by UK law.

14. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. You may cancel via your dashboard; we may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or if we decide to discontinue the service.

Where we terminate your account other than for breach, we will provide reasonable notice and a pro-rata refund of any prepaid subscription fees.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Cutly after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

The current version of these Terms is always available at cut-ly.life/terms.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
